Take me there: My Game Events

Every host has a player limit, which is how many players can be in your game. The free plan starts small, and a paid plan raises it.

#Where you can see your limit

  • At the top of every Hub screen, the button (for example 3 Player Limit) and the matching button at the top of the sidebar.
  • On an event page, the button at the top right (for example 3 players supported). Choose it to add capacity to that one event.

#What players see

The limit is checked when a new player tries to join. Players who are already in the game are not removed. A player who cannot get in sees one of these messages.

Message What it means
The game has reached its player limit. Please try again later. The game already has as many players as it is set up for.
This game has exceeded the host's licensed player limit (N). Please notify the host. The number of players is above what the host's plan allows, where N is that limit.

#What to do

  • Before a big night, check the limit against the number of people you expect.
  • Add capacity to the event from its players supported button, or choose a plan with a higher limit. See adding capacity.
  • In the middle of a game, a player who cannot join can try again after someone leaves.
