Gig Game runs in a web browser, so there is very little to set up. Here is everything you need, and what is only nice to have.

#What you need

You need Details
A laptop or desktop computer This is your host computer. You start and run games from it, using the Host Console in a modern web browser.
An internet connection Gig Game is a web service, so your computer and your players' phones all need to be online.
A free Gig Game account Your players do not need accounts. Create your account in a couple of minutes.
Players with phones Players join with a phone or tablet browser by scanning a QR code or typing a short code. They install nothing.

#Nice to have

Optional Why you might want it
A TV or projector Shows the HUD, the big screen that the room watches. Connect it with an HDMI cable, or share wirelessly with Chromecast or AirPlay.
A tablet Once a game is running you can open a second Host Console on a tablet so you can walk around the room while you host.
Printed QR codes The join QR code can be printed and handed out or posted around the venue.
