Your first 30 minutes with Gig Game

A simple path from a new account to your first game: look around, pick a game, and run it with a couple of friends.

You can go from a new account to a running game in about half an hour. Here is a simple path to follow.

  1. Create your account. If you have not already, create your free account.

    You land on Browse Games.

  2. Take the tour. Spend a few minutes with the tour of the Host Hub and the Dashboard.

    You know where everything lives.

  3. Learn how a game works. Read how hosting works so the Host Console, the HUD and the phones make sense.

  4. Get your gear ready. Check what you need to host: a laptop, and ideally a TV or projector.

  5. Pick a game and host it. Choose a game, then start it with Host a Game Now. On the free plan you can have up to 3 players, so ask a couple of friends to join you from their phones and try a game together.
