Players cannot join my game

Take me there: My Game Events

Work down this list. Each item is something the Hub checks when a player tries to join.

Check What to look for What to do
Is the event running? A scheduled event shows Not started and the page says: Players can't join until you start it. Open the event and choose Start event. See the event page.
Has it ended? A Completed event has released its QR code. Start a new event, or use Host a Game Now. See ending an event.
Is the code right? The player must go to giggame.app/play (or scan your QR code) and type the access code exactly. Say the code out loud and show it on the HUD. Scanning the QR code again avoids typing mistakes.
Is the game full? The player sees: The game has reached its player limit. Please try again later. Or: This game has exceeded the host's licensed player limit (N). Please notify the host. See player limits and adding capacity.
Do they have to sign in? If you asked for phone, email or a PIN, the player must provide it before they can join. Check what players enter to join. Turn off requirements you do not need.
Did they choose a name? The player must choose a player name after entering the code. Ask them to finish the name step.
