Can I start in Quick Trivia and move to the full builder later?
Yes. Questions you type, generate or import are saved to your permanent catalog too. Once a Quick Trivia workspace is completed, its set appears in My Trivia Packs and can be opened in the full builder to add rounds, categories or AI voice. The one exception is questions pulled in from an external catalog: those stay in the Quick Trivia workspace only.
Do I have to pick Automated or Hosted when I build?
You choose an intent when you create a pack, but it only controls which build steps you see. Every time you launch a published pack you choose Automated Play or Manual Play, whichever way it was built. A Host Controlled pack has no generated dialog or voice to play back if you open it in Automated mode. See playing a pack.
Why can't I edit my pack?
A published pack is locked. Open it, choose Unpublish, make your changes, then publish again. See unpublishing and editing.
Why can't I import questions from a shared pack?
Copying questions from shared sets into your catalog needs a paid plan. Also, a pack's creator must have allowed question sharing: look for a tick in the Can Import column. See importing shared questions.
My AI generation is taking a while. Did it fail?
Bulk generation, AI images, AI video and AI dialog and voice are background jobs and take a few minutes. A progress bar shows where it is, and you can leave the page. Turn on SMS notify to be texted when it is done.
I do not have enough AI tokens.
The cost is shown before you commit, and the button is disabled if you cannot afford it. You can publish as-is for free, or add tokens. See AI tokens.
What happens to my images and videos if I delete a Quick Trivia workspace?
Deleting a workspace also deletes its cover image, every question's photo and any custom theme videos. Once you complete a workspace and it becomes a published set, its assets belong to that set, and deleting the original workspace does not touch the published game.
Can I use other hosts' questions?
Yes: from Import Shared Catalogs, or in Quick Trivia from the Add From Catalog picker, as long as the creator allows it. Your own Question Catalog is your permanent bank of questions. The Import Shared Catalogs page lets you browse packs other hosts have published and opted to share questions from, and copy them into your own catalog. From inside Quick Trivia, selected questions go straight into that workspace and skip your permanent catalog, so browsing someone else's pack there never leaves extra questions behind in yours.
